    32nd Annual Meeting 2019

    ANNUAL MEETING
    June 20-22, 2019
    Hal brings the best of the Keys to Coconut Point.  Music, a lazy river, and the challenge of a green surrounded by water.  What else does an over-worked criminal defense lawyer need?
    All FACDL seminars, apart from the annual Criminal Law Certification Review seminar, are intended to: promote the excellence of, disseminate knowledge to, and provide education to, the criminal defense community.  In that regard, attendance at all seminars (apart from the certification review seminar) is limited to criminal defense attorneys, mitigation specialists, defense investigators and other staff involved in providing criminal defense.   
    • Registration for this event grants FACDL permission to use photographs and/or video of the registered attendees in publications, news releases, website pages, social media and in any other FACDL communications related to the mission of FACDL.
    • Those seminar attendees in need of additional services under ADA, please provide notice of your needs to becky@facdl.org no later than June 3, 2019, so arrangements can be made in advance.

    Public Defenders ..... $330 Earlybird | $380.00 on/after 4/1/19

    Non-Members .......... $550 Earlybird | $610.00 on/after 4/1/19

    Seminar Registration Fee:  Includes seminar sessions with applicable reference materials & CLE information; Welcome Reception; Friday social/entertainment; one Saturday Banquet ticket; and, two continental breakfasts. This does not include access for spouse/guest.

    Saturday Night Kids' Party ...................................... $65.00 | per child  (Limited to the first 35 to sign up; Ages 3-12 and must be fully bathroom-trained)

    BRING YOUR LAPTOP OR TABLET/IPAD AS ALL COURSE MATERIALS ARE IN A DIGITAL FORMAT AVAILABLE VIA EVENT SITE OR ON THE FACDL WEBSITE FOR MEMBERS. THERE WILL BE NO PHYSICAL COPIES GIVEN OUT ONSITE.  WE ATTEMPT TO MAKE MATERIALS AVAILABLE IN ADVANCE SO THEY CAN BE DOWNLOADED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.

    The Annual Meeting provides members an excellent opportunity to get CLE credits, participate in officer elections, recognize award winners, and network. We meet at Florida’s finest resorts, and encourage our members to bring their families.

    Hotel Reservations:

    To make hotel reservations, you must first register & pay for the annual meeting.  Once you have completed your annual meeting registration you will be emailed passkey link to reserve your room. HOTEL RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE NO LATER THAN MAY 19, 2019  TO GET FACDL RATES.  RESERVE EARLY TO GET A ROOM AT THESE EXCELLENT RATE AS OUR ROOM BLOCK MAY FILL UP FAST AND BEFORE MAY 19TH!

    FACDL has reserved a block of hotel rooms for people who have registered and paid to attend the seminar and/or the social only events. These rooms are for attendees ONLY.  All others will be be subject to the hotel's standard room rates.

    • Please note there are a LIMITED number of suites available at the FACDL group rate.  CONTACT FACDL TO RESERVE ONE OF THE LIMITED SUITES.  In order to accommodate each attendee we ask that hotel reservations be limited per family to one Suite and one Run of Resort Guest Room OR two+ Run of  Resort Guest Rooms.

    In summary, if you have not registered or paid for attending either the seminar and/or social only for the 32nd Annual Meeting, the FACDL group code will not be validated for your hotel room reservation. This means you will pay regular hotel room or suite rates.

     ***There are a limited number of rooms in each category, so register NOW to get the room of your choice!***

    Room Rates (not including taxes, hotel fees, gratuities or valet parking):

    Run of Resort Guest Room- $199.00 plus taxes

    Bay One Bedroom Suite- $359.00 plus taxes

    Other FACDL discounts: Resort fee waived; valet parking $25++;  and, complimentary self-parking.

The rate of $60 will cover Greens Fees, Cart Fee, and Range Balls. There are 5 tee times reserved: 1:20, 1:28, 1:36, 1:44, and 1:52.
